  • How often should I get my dryer cleaned?

It's generally advised to clean your dryer vent annually to maintain efficient performance and safety.

Factors like vent length, usage frequency, and clothing type can influence cleaning frequency. If you notice reduced airflow, longer drying times, or a musty smell, prioritize immediate cleaning.

Regular maintenance prevents fire hazards due to lint buildup, ensures optimal dryer operation, saves energy, and prolongs its lifespan.

  • How do I know my dryer has a blockage?

Signs of a blocked dryer vent include longer drying times, excessive heat around the dryer, hotter-than-usual clothes after a cycle, a musty smell on laundry, increased lint accumulation in or around the dryer, and an abnormally hot dryer exterior.

Detecting these signs suggests a potential blockage, necessitating prompt vent inspection and cleaning to maintain safety and dryer efficiency.

  • When should I replace my HVAC air filter?

HVAC air filters should generally be replaced every 30 to 90 days for standard filters and up to 6 months to a year for high-efficiency ones.

Monitor filters monthly, especially during high HVAC usage, replacing them when visibly dirty or clogged. Regular replacement maintains air quality, prevents system strain, and extends HVAC lifespan.

  • How often should I get my air ducts cleaned?

NACDA recommends cleaning air ducts every 3-5 years.

You may need to schedule service sooner for the following reasons:

    • If you notice an increase in dust or musty odors from your vents.
    • If you notice ducts are clogged with excessive amounts of dust and debris and/or particles are being released into the home from your supply registers.
    • If you have purchased a new home and do not know when the vents were last cleaned.
    • Following renovations or remodeling projects.

  • How long does it take to clean a dryer vent or air duct system?

Our service times vary case by case.

Dryer Vent Cleaning usually takes 1-2 hours.

HVAC Air Duct Cleaning usually takes 3-5 hours for one system.

  • Does it get super dusty during the cleaning?

During the air duct cleaning process, we use equipment to mitigate airborne particles and take measures to eliminate as much dust as possible.  Because of this, your home will not get super dusty.

  • Should I get a cleaning if I just moved in?

As new homeowners, it's advisable to arrange  HVAC air duct cleaning  for your new property.

This proactive measure is vital for optimal indoor air quality and the efficient operation of our heating and cooling system.

Removing accumulated dust, allergens, and debris through this service establishes a clean foundation, ensuring the HVAC system performs at its best in our new home.

Similarly, a dryer vent inspection and cleaning should be scheduled to ensure your exhaust pipe is clear and system safe.
